Migrate inventory items and fulfillment request lines to JSONAttribute v2

Migrate inventory items and fulfillment request lines to JSONAttribute v2

If there are any inventory items or fulfillment request lines using the JSONAtrribute v1, you can migrate them to the JSONAttribute v2. The JSONAtrribute v2 provides multiple performance and storage enhancements to the technical products data model.

If your org hasn't yet been set up to use the JSONAttribute v2, or you haven't added the AttributesModel custom setting, see JSONAttribute v2 Support in Industries Order Management.

          1. Open the XOM Administration panel (see Open the XOM Administration Panel).
          2. In the XOM Administration panel, click View and Manage Migration Configurations.
XOM Administration Panel with View and Manage Migration Configuration highlighted.

The section expands to show the JSONAtrribute v2 migration options.

          3. In the Select Records for Migration section, select the check box of the records you want to migrate. You can only migrate inventory items or fulfillment request lines one at a time.
          4. In the Batch Size field, enter a batch size value. We recommend a minimum size of 200 at a time. Smaller batch sizes can take longer but are less error prone.
          5. Click Start.

The migration job starts. When finished, a message appears at the top of the page telling you whether the migration job was successful or unsuccessful. If the job was unsuccessful, try entering a smaller batch size, and try again. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for every batch you want to migrate.
