Using an OmniScript in a Manual Task
Fulfillment Designers can create OmniScripts to provide guided interfaces for users that manage manual tasks in the fulfillment flow.
A task can be placed in a manual queue where it can be picked up by a user for an approval or manual enrichment of order data. For example, you can run a credit check OmniScript from a manual task to perform a credit check. Or, have another manual task for assigning a port, from which you can run an assign port OmniScript.
You can use a unique OmniScript for every manual task orchestration item definition.
To use an OmniScript in a manual task:
- Create the OmniScript. See Creating the OmniScript.
- Obtain the OmniScript URL. See Obtaining an OmniScript URL.
- Creating a manual task and include the OmniScript URL. See Creating a Manual Task that Uses an OmniScript.
