State Model Completion Checklist
Here is a checklist to help you ensure that your State Model is complete.

If the state field of the base object is a picklist, which is recommended, do its values match the names of the states in the State Model?

Does the default value of the state field match the initial state? This isn't required but is recommended.

Does the base object have a Lightning Record Page that contains the Vlocity State Transition and Vlocity Rules Log components?

If you have defined a Field Set for the base object, is it named FieldsAvailableInRules? And does it contain the state field, the type field if applicable, fields that link it to related objects, and all fields that the rules use?

If you have defined a Field Set for a related object, does it contain the field that links it to the base object and all fields that the rules use?

Is the base object name one of the values in the Object API Name field of the Vlocity State Model object?

Is the state field one of the values in the Field API Name field of the Vlocity State Model object?

Are State Transitions defined for every possible path through the State Model?

Are rules defined for all transitions that don't go to alternate states and that need rules?

Are all the rules and actions active?

Is the Vlocity State Model Version enabled?

Have you set up test data on which the rules and actions can operate?

If you are testing only the rules in the example, have you completed the tasks in Workflow for Creating State Transition Rules and enabled the State Model Version?

If you are testing the rules and actions in the example, have you also completed the tasks in Workflow for Creating Actions for States and Rules?
