Decision Explainer for Salesforce Pricing
Use Decision Explainer to customize the Salesforce Pricing waterfall structure and generate dynamic explanations for the resulting pricing outcomes.
Decision Explainer is a service that provides insights into why a pricing procedure generated a specific result. For example, it can explain to your user why the final price of the list of items that they purchased seems higher than expected. With Decision Explainer, the pricing analyst can check the discounts applied for the items and the break-up of discounts to give your user the reason for their final charges.
Salesforce Pricing sends default success or failure messages that come with the solution, but doesn’t ship predefined decision explainer messages. To create a custom message, you must first create a message token, then a template for your message, and finally, map it to the appropriate context tag or resource.
To learn more, see Decision Explainer.
