Create and manage product classification hierarchies up to three levels deep to enhance
the product catalog’s structure. Subclassifications automatically inherit attributes from their
parent, simplifying attribute management and reducing redundant work.
From the Product Catalog Management app’s home page, click Product
Classifications.
From the Product Classifications list, select the product classification to which you want
to add a subclassification.
Click the Subclassification tab, and then click
New.
In the New Product Classification page, enter the product classification name, code, and
status.
Note You can change the status of a draft product classification to active, however you can
change the status of an active product classification only to inactive.
