Set the Display Order of Catalog Categories

Define the display order of catalog categories by assigning numeric sort order values. Use null, negative, zero, or positive numbers to control which categories appear first, in the middle, or last.

Required Editions

  1. Open a catalog and click Categories.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. To determine the sort order of the category, in the Sort Order field, enter a numeric value.
    1. Leave the field blank (null) to display the category before all defined values.
    2. Enter a negative number to display the category after null values but before zero and positive values.
    3. Enter 0 to display the category after null and negative values but before positive values.
    4. Enter a positive number to display the category last in the sequence.
  4. Save your changes.
