Turn On Product Variants

You are here:

Turn On Product Variants

Enable product variation to create and manage variant products in Product Catalog Management and make them available for product discovery.

Required Editions

View supported products and editions.

User Permissions Needed
To enable product variants:	Manage Product Catalog

In Setup, find and select Product Discovery Settings.
Turn on Product Variants.

If Use Indexed Data for Product Listing and Search is enabled, toggling this setting requires reindexing of products.

Note After enabling Product Variants and creating variation products, do not disable this feature. Disabling it can cause errors and data inconsistencies.
