          User Permissions Needed
To enable Unified Constituent Profile for Benefit Management: Customize Application, plus any admin permissions your org requires for Setup

          Before you begin:

          • Complete the analytics setup. The Turn On control stays disabled until the analytics setup is complete.
          • Enable Group Membership in your org. Group Membership is required for most features in the Unified Constituent Profile to appear.
          • (Optional) Configure the Data 360 connection for enhanced insights.

Complete the following setup procedures in order. Use Salesforce Go for a guided experience, or configure each step manually.

          Set Up Analytics

Complete the analytics setup before you enable the Unified Constituent Profile. These prerequisites apply to analytics pages and features, including Tableau Next capabilities.

You also need Data Cloud set up before you complete the Tableau Next steps. See Enable Tableau Next in Public Sector for the Tableau Next platform setup details.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Analytics, and then select the Analytics setup page.
          2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Tableau Next, and then select Tableau Next Setup.
            Turn on the TableauPlatformEnabled preference.
          3. Assign the Tableau for the Data Solution Permission Set License (PSL) to the appropriate users.

          Deploy Datakits

Deploy the datakits that enable the data connections for the Unified Constituent Profile.

For datakit installation details, see Install the Public Sector Solutions Data Kit in the Public Sector Solutions help.

          1. Deploy the Benefit Management datakit.
          2. Deploy the Talent Recruitment Management datakit.
          3. Deploy the Public Sector Common datakit.
          4. In the Benefit Assignment data stream, create a formula field with data type Date for RecertificationDueDate, and then map it to the RecertificationDueDate field of the data model object (DMO).
          5. In the Program Enrollment data stream, create a formula field with data type Date for StartDate, and then map it to the Start Date field of the DMO.

Enable the Feature in Salesforce Go

Use Salesforce Go for a guided experience that walks you through analytics setup, field-level security, and permission set assignment.

Configure the Unified Constituent Profile for Benefit Management without Salesforce Go. Use this method if your org doesn't use Salesforce Go or you want full control over each setup step.

If you already started setup in Salesforce Go, finish there with Enable the Feature in Salesforce Go instead.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Tableau Next Settings, and then select Tableau Next Settings under Public Sector Solutions.

          Verify the Setup

Confirm that the Unified Constituent Profile components appear correctly on a constituent's Account record.

          1. Open an Account record for a constituent who is enrolled in benefits.
          2. Confirm that the Einstein Summary component lets you click Generate Summary.
          3. Confirm that the Priority Items section lists open benefit cases.
