            HR Service for Public Sector

            HR Service creates a positive work environment and improves employee satisfaction by enabling companies to efficiently address employee queries and service requests.

            Required Editions

            For more information about HR Service features, see Support Employees with HR Service.

            To get started with HR Service, create an Employee user. In the User License and Profile step, select Lightning Platform.

            Note
            Note Although HR Service and IT Service direct you to assign the Unified Employee License (UEL) user license, for Public Sector Solutions, assign the Lightning Platform - One App user license instead.

            Make sure that you also have the Employee Experience for Public Sector add-on.

            Note HR Service is a comprehensive redesign of Work.com. If you're using tools and features from Work.com, we recommend that you migrate to HR Service. See Migration from Work.com to HR Service.
            Important
            Important Employee users can’t access Alumni Portal features.
