            Create Formula Fields for Tableau Next Dashboards

            Create formula fields in the Licenses, Permits, and Inspections data streams to map source fields to the correct data model object (DMO) fields for Tableau Next dashboards.

            Required Editions

            View supported product editions.
            Note
            Note Available in Public Sector - Service - Agentforce 1 Edition. Available with the Tableau Next Add-On in Agentforce for Public Sector.

            Before you create the formula fields, install the Licenses, Permits, and Inspections data kit. See Data Requirements for Tableau Next Dashboards.

            These formula fields are a temporary workaround for a data type mismatch between the data lake object (DLO) and the data model object (DMO). They will be removed in a future release when the Licenses, Permits, and Inspections data kit is updated.

            1. In the BusinessLicense_Home data stream, create a formula field with data type Date for VerifiedDate, and then map it to the Verified On Date field of the PartyBusinessLicense data model object (DMO).
            2. In the PublicComplaint_Home data stream, create a formula field with data type Date for ReceivedDate, and then map it to the Received Date field of the Complaint DMO.
            3. In the BusinessLicense_Home data stream, create a formula field with data type Date for PeriodEnd, and then map it to the License Expiration Date field of the PartyBusinessLicense DMO.
            4. In the BusinessLicense_Home data stream, create a formula field with data type Boolean for isActive, and then map it to the Active field of the PartyBusinessLicense DMO.
