Supply Chain Resiliency for Public Sector is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.
Public sector agencies depend on complex networks of suppliers, sub-tier vendors, and manufacturing sites to deliver mission-critical programs. Supply Chain Resiliency gives you a data model to capture that network, assess the risks in it, and tie it back to the programs and contracts it supports.
The capability is organized into two areas:
- Supplier Management
- Models your supplier base: who your suppliers are, how they relate to each other, the products they provide, and where those products are made.
- Supply Chain Risk
- Builds on that base to score suppliers, record risks, and track the impact of those risks on your programs.
Supply Chain Resiliency Data Model
Supply Chain Resiliency ships as a data model. Your implementation team builds the user experience for your agency, tailoring dashboards, workflows, and automation to how your program managers and contracting officers work.
The data model also supports integration with authoritative government and commercial data sources, such as commercial risk intelligence platforms, so you can enrich your supplier records with externally sourced data.
- Supplier Management Objects (Pilot)
Model your supplier base, the corporate and supply relationships that connect suppliers, product structures, and manufacturing sites to see who supplies what and where. - Supply Chain Risk Objects (Pilot)
