Advanced Amendment and Renewal Features
Revenue Cloud provides flexible asset management by helping sales reps to apply negotiated contract pricing to amendments and renewals. You can use specialized features to adjust subscription start and end dates for termed assets, perform field or price-only updates without changing configurations, and use the Rollback tool to reverse the most recent future-dated transactions. These capabilities ensure data integrity and accommodate evolving customer needs throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Apply Contract Pricing When Amending or Renewing
Apply negotiated contract prices or discounts to amendments and renewals to ensure sales reps honor original customer agreements. Maintaining contracts with contract-based pricing includes these negotiated rates in all subsequent lifecycle transactions. - Manage Assets with Field and Price Amendments
Update asset details and adjust pricing without changing quantities, attributes, or bundle configurations by using Field Amendments and Price Only Amendments. Use these features to modify standard and custom fields, such as billing frequency, while ensuring changes remain officially recorded, approved, and auditable. - Adjust Subscription Start Dates
In subscription selling, it’s common to book a sale, but defer the start of the subscription for a future date. To adjust the start date, sales users can amend a subscription, provided the original start date hasn't occurred yet. - Change Subscription End Dates of Termed Assets
Modify the subscription end date for termed assets during amendments and renewals to lengthen or shorten a subscription's term. This flexibility helps you accommodate evolving customer needs within the Revenue Cloud asset lifecycle. - Roll Back the Last Transaction for an Asset
To reverse the most recent future-dated amendment or renewal due to errors or changes in customer plans, use the Rollback feature. This action restores the asset to its original state, eliminating the need for complicated manual workarounds.
