          Create Visits

          A visit is an act where a field rep goes to a retail store and performs certain tasks.

          Required Editions

          Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
          • Manually Create Visits
            A visit can be customer-related or non-customer related. Supervisors can create calls for any sales reps in the team, but sales reps can create visits only for themselves.
          • Create Visits Automatically
            A planning algorithm creates visits based on visit settings. You can create and assign visits to any of your sales reps automatically if you're a manager.
          • Create Visits by Using Job Lists
            Create visits for customers who are specified in the job list.
          • Create Visits by Using Trip Lists
            You can plan visits in automatic mode according to a customer sequence in the trip list. Depending on the trip list customer setting, you can plan multiple visits for a customer during a day.
          • Create Multiple Visits
            You can create multiple visits for several customers and assign the visit to any sales rep from the team.
          • Change the Visit Page Layout
            To use action plans for visits, add Action Plans List Lightning component to the visit record page.
          • Associate an Action Plan Template With a Visit
            Associate a visit for a store with an action plan template that has the tasks that field reps can perform at the store.
          • Assessment Tasks
            When you assign an action plan template to a visit, assessment tasks and retail visit KPIs are created. Assessment tasks are created based on the assessment task definitions in your action plan template and the retail visit KPIs are created based on retail store KPIs.
          • Associate Delivery Task to Shipments
            When you assign an action plan template to a visit, delivery tasks records are created. Associate this delivery task to shipments to define the products that’re required to be delivered during the visit.
