          Prerequisites for Creating a Promotion Check

          Before you create a promotion check task type, you must create and associate these records.

          Required Editions

          Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
          • Create a Promotion.
          • (Optional) Associate the following to a Retail Store:
            • Products.
            • In-Store Locations: Associate every in-store location with an In-Store Location Category.
          • (Optional) Add a promotion channel.
          • Associate the Retail Store to a Retail Store Group.
          • Define the following while creating a Retail Store KPI:
            • Retail Store Group: Select the Retail Store Group that you’ve associated with the Retail Store.
            • In-Store Location Category: Select the In-Store Location Category that you used to create In-Store Locations. The In-Store Location Category sets up the link between an In-Store Location of a Retail Store and the Retail Store KPI.
            • Assessment Indicator Definition for Product or Product Category at the same In-Store Location Category.
