Debit Memo Tax Treatment ID

Starting Summer ’26, the Tax Treatment Id field must be explicitly mapped when creating Debit Memo and Debit Memo Line records.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Revenue Cloud Billing license. Contact your Salesforce account executive for more information.

Any integrations or processes that create Debit Memo and Debit Memo Line records must be updated to include an explicit Tax Treatment Id value. This field is editable on draft and posted debit memos, and the tax engine of the tax treatment is used to match across all Debit Memo Line records.
