If you have previously enabled and set up Usage Management, perform the required steps after your Salesforce org upgrades to Summer '26 to ensure business continuity and a smooth transition.

Clone the Create Usage Summary Template Data Processing Engine Definition
To prevent issues when the Usage Resource Billing Policy field in Usage Resource Object is removed in the next release, update your Data Processing Engine (DPE) definitions. As part of the upgrade, you must clone the Create Usage Summary Template DPE and update the Generate Usage Summary flow template with the new DPE definition.
Update the Name Field in Rating Frequency Policy
Starting Summer '26, the Name field in the Rating Frequency Policy record is modified from an autogenerated unique identifier to a mandatory input field. Make sure that you modify your records to specify a name for each existing rating frequency policy record.
