          Set Up Data Transformation for Document Generation

          Convert flat data into hierarchical structures, group records, and calculate values by defining the context and configuring the Data Processing Engine (DPE) structure.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To set up the data transformation structure: DocGen Designer with Admin Persona
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Context Definitions, and then select Context Definitions.
          2. Create a context definition.
            1. Click New.
            2. Name the definition, and enter the required information.
            3. Turn on Transform available toggle, and then click Next.
            4. Add the required nodes, and click Next.
              For example: Quote, and Quote Line Items.
            5. For each node, select an input type, the data type, and values if you have a key-value pair.
            6. Save your context definition.
          3. Configure the data transformation.
            1. Open the context definition.
            2. On the Transform tab, click New Transform.
              A DPE window opens.
            3. Configure the data transformation details.
            4. Click Done.
            5. In the DPE, define the sequence and map the parent-child relationships by creating the necessary nodes.
            6. Save and activate the transformation.
