If you’re generating documents without using Data Mappers, Omnistudio isn’t required (neither the Omnistudio (standard) nor the Omnistudio for managed package). However, if your templates include tokens that must be replaced with actual data, Data Mappers are necessary. In that case, you need either Omnistudio (standard) or the Omnistudio for managed package, both of which support Data Mappers. The specific version of Omnistudio is determined by the assigned permission set license (PSL).
