Assign users the Industry Service Excellence permission set to set up and use Service Process Studio. The products and licenses in your org determine whether you have access to this permission set. This permission set auto-assigns the Industry Service Excellence permission set license.
To allow service agents to run service processes, assign object permissions for the Service Catalog Request object. At run time, when a case is created for a service process request, the data attributes associated with a service process request are stored in the Service Catalog Request and Service Catalog Request Extd Attr Val object records.
Assign Read, Create, Edit, and Delete permissions for the Service Catalog Request object by creating a permission set and assigning it to users or through user profiles.
If you customize Service Process Studio—for example, by adding fields—create a custom permission set. To remove user permissions from the default permission set, create a muting permission set. Then, use permission set groups to assign users the default permission set in addition to your custom permission sets. This approach is an alternative to cloning permission sets and ensures that users always have the latest default permissions.
