Create and Assign Guest User Permissions for Record Stage Overview Access

Create a permission set that provides Record Stage Overview access to Experience Cloud site guest users.

User Permissions Needed
To create permission sets: Manage Profiles and Permission Sets
To edit permission set assignments: Be a member of the site AND Create and Set Up Experiences
To control who can view steps or tasks in Record Stage Overview component: Record Stage Overview Standard Access

Create a Stage Definition and configure a step definition for the tasks intended for community users. Assign manual tasks to queues and make them visible to external users. Create a custom community user to configure sharing settings and assign permission sets.

  1. From Setup, find and select Permission Sets.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter a Label.
    For example, Record Stage Overview For Community. By default, API Name is the same as the Label.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. On the Permission Set Overview page, click Object Settings, grant read access objects. For example, Application Form, Party profile and so on.
  6. Grant read access to Fulfillment Step Definition.
  7. On the Permission Set Overview page, click System Permissions, then click Edit.
  8. Select Access Activities and Edit Tasks.
  9. Optionally, select Enables consumers and partners to execute Omniscripts, DRs, Cards through a Community or off platform.

Configure field-level security for the Public field (IsVisibleInSelfService) on the Task object to be visible to admin user.
