Required Permissions
To use Stage Management, Salesforce admins and users need the user permission Stage Management Design User, Stage Management User, and Integration Orchestration User. Typically, a Salesforce admin assigns a permission set, which includes this user permission. Since multiple products include this feature, the products and licenses in your org determine the available permission set.
Most products use the same permission set.

Other Required Permissions
Salesforce admins need the Omnistudio Admin and Rule Engine Designer permissions to create Omniscripts and Expression sets. Users require Omnistudio User and Rule Engine Runtime permissions to run the Omniscripts and Expression sets, respectively.
Customizing Permissions
If you customize Stage Management, such as adding fields, create a custom permission set. To remove user permissions from the default permission set, create a muting permission set. Then, use permission set groups to assign users the Stage Management permission set in addition to your custom permission sets. This approach ensures that users always have the latest default permissions and is an alternative to cloning permission sets.
