Create a Batch Job to Process the Delete Closed Cases Flow

Create a batch job to process all the closed case records for the Delete Closed Cases flow.

Required Editions

View supported editions.
User Permissions Needed
To create a batch job: System Administrator profile
  1. Click Setup icon, and select Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find box, search and select Batch Management.
  3. Click New.
  4. Provide the following details:
    Field Description
    Name and API Name Process Closed Cases
    Group Support
    Execution Process Delete_Closed_Cases
    Batch Size 1500
    Retry Count 2
    Retry Interval 1,000
  5. Click Next.
  6. Provide the following details:
    Field Description
    Flow Input Variable RecordID
    Object Case
    Conditions
    • Select Records When: All conditions are met (AND)
    • Field: IsClosed
    • Operator: Equals
    • Type: Value
    • Value: True
  7. Click Save.
  8. Activate the batch job.

For the last step, create a flow that runs the batch job based on the schedule you define.
