Schedule the Batch Job to Run

Now that the Process Closed Cases batch job is created, a scheduled flow must be created to run this batch job. The batch job processes the Deleted Closed Cases flow.

Required Editions

View supported editions.
User Permissions Needed
To create a flow: Manage Flows system permission
To run a batch job: System Administrator profile
  1. Click Setup icon, and select Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find box, search and select Flow.
  3. Click New Flow.
  4. Select Scheduled Automations | Schedule-Triggered Flow.
  5. Add the Action element onto the canvas.
  6. Select the Process Closed Cases batch job.
  7. Name the action as Delete Closed Cases.
  8. Click Set Schedule.
  9. Select the following, and click Done.
    • Start Date: January 1, 2027
    • Start Time: 12:00 am
    • Frequency: Weekly
  10. Name the flow as Run Batch to Delete Closed Cases, and click Save.
  11. Activate the flow.
