Create Expression Set Message Tokens

Expression set message tokens serve as placeholders for specific values from an expression set version within an explainability message template. Without tokens, the explanation messages would be static and unable to reflect the specific data involved in a particular execution of the rule. Create a token, and then map it to actual resources to dynamically display relevant data in explanation messages.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions for Industries clouds that have Business Rules Engine and Decision Explainer enabled
User Permissions Needed
To create tokens: Decision Explainer Service Access
To use tokens in explainability message templates: Decision Explainer Service Access
To map tokens from an explainability message template to expression set version resources: Rule Engine Designer
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Expression Set Message Token, and then select Expression Set Message Token.
  2. Click New Expression Set Message Token.
  3. Enter a name for the token.
    Tip
    Tip Enter a unique name that begins with a letter and doesn’t contain spaces, special characters, or consecutive underscores.
  4. Enter a label.
  5. Enter a description.
  6. Save the expression set message token.
