User Permissions Needed

To invoke a decision table: Run Decision Tables
Note
Note Decision tables are also available as part of Business Rules Engine. If your org has Business Rules Engine enabled, see Decision Tables for Business Rules Engine.
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
  2. Click New Flow.
  3. In the New Flow window, select a flow type.
  4. Select a layout.
  5. From the Elements tab, drag the Action element onto the canvas.
  6. Complete these steps in the New Action window, and then click Done:
    1. In the Category section, select Decision Table.
The Decision Table category is available in the New Action window when at least one active decision table exists in Salesforce.
    2. Search for the decision table that you want to run.
    3. Select the search result that is suffixed with the default.
Decision tables can be associated with one or more dataset links. To run a decision table without a dataset link, select the search result that's suffixed with default. The other search results are suffixed with the name of the dataset links. If you select a decision table with an associated dataset link's name suffixed, the decision table provides outcomes for the records of the object specified in the dataset link.
    4. Provide a name for the Action element. The API name is autopopulated based on the name you enter.
    5. Include the input fields to provide values for.
If the decision table contains an input field to group the business rules, include that input field.
Invoke a decision table without a dataset link.
    6. Provide values to be evaluated by each decision table input field that you include.
If an input field is of the type Picklist (Multi-Select), provide only one value for evaluation. You can't provide multiple values by using semicolons as value separators.
    7. Click Done.
  7. Use other elements in the flow to decide how the outcomes provided by the decision table are stored or processed later.
  8. Save and activate your flow.
  9. If your flow isn't scheduled, run the flow.
