Submit Failed Records

You can submit records that a Batch Management job run failed to process for processing again. You can resubmit all the records that failed or specific failed records.

User Permissions Needed
To submit failed records: View permissions information.

If you choose to submit specific failed records for processing, you can select up to 200 failed records. After you resubmit the failed records, their status changes from Failed to Resubmitted. To process the failed records, a new batch job is created and run automatically.

Note
Note If you submit failed records for processing and they fail again, you can’t use the initial batch job to resubmit the failed records again. Submit the records that failed again using the new batch job that was created initially to submit these records.
  1. Click Setup icon, and select Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find box, search for and select Monitor Workflow Services.
  3. Open the batch job run that contains failed records.
  4. Submit all the failed records for processing, or select the failed records that you want to submit.
    1. To submit all the failed records, click Submit Failed Records.
    2. To submit specific failed records, select the failed records on the Failed Records tab, and click Submit Failed Records.
  5. To view the new batch job run that’s processing the failed records, click the resubmitted batch job ID on the Failed Records tab.
  • Submit Failed Records in Flows
Use a Flow action to submit failed records for processing. You can schedule the flow to submit the failed records automatically after a batch job run is complete with the Completed with Failures status.
