          Resolve Claim Overspend Error

          When a claim fails the overspent check, resolve the issue and try again the closure.

          To resolve claim overspent error: CGCloud Key Account Manager
          Important
          Important The overspent check queries accrued values from the Accrued Data Cloud. Make sure that promotion calculations are up to date before closing claims to get accurate overspend validation.
          1. To adjust the claim-tactic payout amount, perform these steps.
            1. Open the claim that failed to close.
            2. Review the Chatter notification to identify the claim-tactics that exceeded the threshold.
            3. Go to the claim-tactics and reduce the tactic payout amount to keep the amount within the defined threshold.
            4. Reset the claim status to To Be Closed, and try again the closure.
          2. If you're a claim manager, to remove the overspent claim-tactic, perform these steps.
            1. Open the claim that failed to close.
            2. Review the Chatter notification to identify the claim-tactics that exceeded the threshold.
            3. If the claim-tactic mustn't be paid, delete the claim-tactic.
            4. Reset the claim status to To Be Closed, and try again the closure.
            You can remove an overspent claim-tactic only if the promotion-tactic isn't in the closure process.
          3. To correct accrued values on a promotion, perform these steps.
            1. If accrued values are incorrect, go to the promotion using the link in the Chatter notification.
            2. Review and update the promotion or tactic configuration.
            3. Trigger a recalculation of the promotion to update the accrued amounts in Data Cloud.
            4. After you update the accrued values, reset the claim status to To Be Closed and try again the closure.
              You can correct the accrued value for a promotion only is promotion-tactic isn't in the closure process.
