            Adjust Custom Parameters for the Filtered Tactic Selection Query

            Starting in Winter '26, the Filtered Tactic Selection Query includes new custom metadata records that can conflict with existing custom configurations. To prevent conflicts, manually adjust the parameter order if you customized the Link Tactics feature with additional query parameters or conditions.

            To update a query condition in custom metadata: CG Cloud System Admin

            To update a query parameter and query condition metadata records in custom metadata:

            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom Metadata Types, and then select Custom Metadata Types.
            2. Next to Query Parameter, click Manage Records.
            3. Locate the Exclude Closed Params parameter, and then click Edit.
            4. Set Parameter Order to the next sequential number after your highest custom parameter order.
              For example, if your highest custom order is 15, enter 16. If you don't have custom parameters, keep the default value of 14.
            5. Save your changes.
            6. Next to Query Condition, click Manage Records.
            7. Locate the Exclude Closed parameter, and then click Edit.
            8. In Condition Text, replace all occurrences of {14} with the Parameter Order value from Step 4.
              For example, change (Status__c NOT IN ({14}) AND Promotion__r.Phase__c NOT IN ({14})) to (Status__c NOT IN ({16}) AND Promotion__r.Phase__c NOT IN ({16})).
            9. Save your changes.
