          Promotion P&L View Configuration

          The Promotion P&L view shows the weekly values of a promotion's key performance indicators (KPIs) for each week of the promotion period and the total value for the entire promotion period. To configure the KPIs that you want to show, associate a KPI set with the promotion template.

          Filtering Promotion P&L View

          Use these filters to filter KPIs and product groups that appear in the Promotion P&L view.

          Filter Name Description
          Product LevelSelects the product hierarchy level that appears in the Promotion P&L view. You can select only the product levels assigned to the relevant promotion template and the product value.
          Note
          Note The Promotion P&L view is sorted based on the selected product levels per their hierarchy. For example, if the selected levels are Category and Product, the grid is first sorted at the category level and then at the product level. If the selected level is Product, the grid is sorted at the product level.
          KPI Set Shows information based on KPI subset.

          You can select only one KPI subset from the filter at a time. After filtered, the Promotion P&L view shows the KPIs that are part of the KPI set related to the promotion template and belong to the subset selected in this filter.

          Define Your KPI Definitions

          Define the KPIs that must be shown in the Promotion P&L view. These settings are relevant:

          • Description
          • Enabled
          • Sort
          • Total Calculation Cumulative
          • Value Type
          • Total Calculation Rule
          • Aggregation Rule
          • Distribution Type
          • Merge Rule

          Create a KPI Set

          Create a KPI set with usage set to Promotion, and add the KPI definitions to the KPI set. When you add KPI definitions to a KPI set, specify a subset. For example, Planning, Monitoring, or Finance.

          After the KPI set configuration is updated, the configuration of individual KPI definitions included in the KPI set are added to the KPI set.

          Update User Settings

          You must assign one or more KPI subsets to the key account manager using the KPI Subsets field in User Settings.

          Note

          Only the KPI subsets assigned to the key account manager can be selected while filtering the Promotion P&L view.

          Update Sales Org Settings

          These settings are relevant for promotion calculation:

          First Day of the Week Defines the first day of the week.
          First Week of the Year: Defines the first week of the year.
          Week Day Share Profile: Defines the weekday share profile that is selected for the sales org.
          Account Product List Type: Determines whether a global or time-dependent account product list is used for account planning.
          Used Reference Date: Defines the date used as a reference to resolve the product hierarchy in the account plan view.
          Sales Organization Cluster: Specifies the cluster to which the sales org belongs. Sales orgs are associated with a cluster to facilitate creation of cluster-specific dynamic queues for the promotion calculation process.
