          Conditions

          Conditions

Conditions store details about the price of products.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

Here are some examples of conditions:

          • Retailer, Distributor, or Wholesaler Price
          • Consumer Price
          • Discounts, such as percentage, lump sum, or header discounts that are offered to customers
          • Special prices intended for specific customers

Generally, conditions are interfaced to Processing Services and configured as Read KPI definitions. The condition values are used in promotion and account plan calculations. You can import customer-specific, product-specific, or customer-product-specific conditions from ERP systems.

          • Product Hierarchy Conditions
Conditions can be stored either at the product level or at higher levels. If condition values aren’t available at the product level, you can configure the KPI definition to use the values stored at higher levels for calculation. The system uses the first condition in the lowest level.
          • Tactic Product Conditions
Tactic product conditions contain relevant detail about the corresponding tactic and products—Standard and BOM—at the configured product level. When condition creation is enabled for your sales org, promotion template, and tactic template, the system automatically creates tactic product conditions with or without any time constraint when a nightly batch is launched and specific criteria are met.
          • Rate-Based Funding Conditions
Rate-based funding (RBF) conditions can be created for promotion and account plan calculations. See the steps to create rate-based funding conditions.
