At least one RBF product record for a Rate-Based Funding exists in Approved state in the system.
The diagram shows the process of creating RBF conditions:
To create RBF conditions, start the RBF calculation batch process, and then the system:
- Determines the RBFs that are in Approved state.
- Determines the products that are related to the existing RBF records that have measures for the Condition Source KPI. The Condition Source KPI must be an editable KPI.
- Determines the measures for each product.
- Determines the measure code for Condition Target KPI.
- Deletes the old account product measure records for the account, product, measure code, and timeframe for the determined RBF records.
- Creates the RBF Conditions for each RBF and product that has product level as Product
with this information:
Attribute Value Account ID The internal RBF account ID. Product ID The internal product ID related to RBF. Measure code The measure code of the Condition Target KPI. Date From The start date of RBF. Date Thru The end date of RBF. Value The product measure value. Promotion ID The promotion ID related to RBF. By default, this field is empty. Tactic ID The tactic ID related to RBF. By default, this field is empty.
You open an RBF record that’s in Initial state by using an RBF template for Kroger Atlanta for a period of one year (Jan-Dec).
A grid is shown on the RBF details page with the relevant products for this RBF, along with an editable KPI (Condition Source KPI).
Edit the KPI values for the products, and then save the changes.
When the RBF is approved, and if the RBF calculation batch process is executed, conditions are created in Account Product Measure table for three products (Blueberry, Kaki, Lopples Acai Berry) that have measures for the Condition Source KPI by using the measure code defined in Condition Target KPI.
No conditions are created for the remaining products without any values for the Condition Source KPI.
RBF rates can be maintained at four hierarchy levels instead of two, without affecting the condition creation.
