The promotions are sorted by the Sort value of the promotion templates. The promotions for each promotion template are then sorted alphabetically by the slogan. |
| By Group Text |

| By Customer |
The system groups promotions by customer and then by the selected product levels. The sidebar shows a tree structure. The customers are shown in the first level. Expand the customer level to see the sublevels (product levels). Promotions can appear in a row even if they’re created using different promotion templates if they’re anchored to the same customer and are relevant for a particular product level. The system sorts customer names first by trade org hierarchy and then alphabetically. Under each customer, the system sorts product levels in the order defined while grouping promotions by customer. The system alphabetically sorts products in each product level by Product Description 1. |
| By Product |

If promotions are grouped by slogan or group text, and two grouped promotion's periods overlap, the promotion with the later start date appears in the next row within the group unless the same slot is free in a higher row within the same group. If promotions are grouped by customer or product, the Gantt bar for the overlapping period appears gray. For the lowest product level, the promotion with the later start date appears in the next row within the same group.
Trade Calendar doesn't refresh when the view is grouped by group text or slogan and you save your changes after clicking Copy or Derive from the launchpad.
When you select an existing slogan or group text, the promotion appears in the existing group. When you select a new slogan or group text, the new group appears at the top of the calendar.
Group Events in the Trade Calendar View
Events appear at the top of the trade calendar. If you group promotions by slogan, the system groups events by slogan and then sorts them alphabetically by the slogan. Otherwise, the system groups events by group text and sorts them alphabetically by the group text. The events with group text appear before the events without group text.
