Configure Accruals in TPM

If you’re using TPM accrual engine, configure Sales org, and promotion, tactic, and claim templates after setting up your org and enabling the accruals engine.

• Deploy the TPM Accruals Data Kit
  Deploy the TPM accruals data kit to install the required data streams, models, and transformations in Data Cloud.
• Configure Accruals for a Sales Org
  Activate accruals for each sales organization individually. You can configure the specific fields that control how accruals are processed.
• Configure Templates for Accruals
  Enable accruals in your promotion, tactic, and claim templates so that their associated promotions, tactics, and claims are eligible for accrual calculations.
• Example: Accrual Rule Time Granularity
  Understand how the system distributes accrual amounts when you select Total or Period as the accrual rule time granularity for a tactic.
• Accruals in Funds
  By using this feature, you can see the liabilities accrued for every tactic in the Funds section of the promotion. The engine updates the Liabilities field on tactics and tactic funds with accruals calculated.
• Set Up Reporting
  Configure data governance and data mapping so you can report on accrual data.
• Schedule Accruals
  To trigger the accrual calculation process chain, schedule the Accrual Process Chain class.
