            Create KPI Maps

            Use KPI maps to link a field in Salesforce with the KPIs stored in CG Cloud Processing Service. Store a KPI value in a promotion or a tactic object field by defining the mapping between the KPI definition and the field.

            To create a KPI map: CGCloud Business Admin

            Here are the points to consider for creating KPI maps:

            • Assign only one template to a KPI map.
            • To store KPI values in a promotion object, select Measures as the storage level of the KPI definition.
            • To store KPI values in a tactic object, select Tactic as the storage level of the KPI definition.
            • If you don’t want to store a KPI value in an existing field, create a promotion or tactic object field to store the value in.
            • If multiple promotion templates use different KPI sets, then create corresponding KPI maps to store the different values in the same promotion field.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select KPI Maps.
            2. Click New.
            3. Enter a name and description for the KPI map.
            4. In SObject Type, enter the API name of the object that stores the KPI value.
            5. In Field Name, enter the API name of the field that stores the KPI value.
            6. Select a sales organization.
            7. Select a KPI definition.
            8. Select the appropriate templates.
            9. Save the changes.
            10. To fill the Salesforce fields with the KPI values, synchronize data with processing services.

            Example For a promotion created by using the Customer Promotion template and the ProLETotalPromotionSpend KPI definition (1), this KPI map updates the KPI values to the cgcloud__LE_Spend__c field (2) in the Tactic object.
