Integrate Trade Promotion Management Data with Data 360 for Enhanced Insights
Centralize your Trade Promotion Management (TPM) writeback KPIs from package objects
and the offcore processing service into Data 360 to enhance visibility and decision-making. This
integration offers a holistic view of product sales, promotional effectiveness, and business
trends across various brands, categories, and account hierarchies.
Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, Einstein 1, and
Agentforce 1 Editions with Consumer Goods Cloud Trade Promotion Management
and Data 360
With this approach, you can analyze both B2B and B2C data alongside TPM data to uncover
consumer behavior patterns and assess how demographics and geography influence sales
performance. This unified data access supports strategic initiatives, such as launching new
products, entering new markets, and identifying emerging business trends. It also supports
proactive decision-making by highlighting areas requiring corrective actions.
By consolidating TPM data within Data 360, you can streamline the creation of reports,
dashboards, and actionable insights, eliminating the need for cumbersome CSV exports or KPI
extracts. You can easily access and validate writeback KPI data in Data 360, and simplify
integration with downstream systems for demand planning and sales operations.
Considerations and Limitations When centralizing your Trade Promotion Management (TPM) data into Data 360 , be aware of these considerations and limitations.
Data Lake Object Structure When you create a data stream, Data 360 attempts to detect the data type of each field. When mapping the data lake object (DLO) to a data model object (DMO), the data type of the DLO field must match the data type of the DMO field.
Example of an Export to Data 360 When you modify the set of measure codes in the export configuration, the watermark resets and re-exports all data from the start date. This update ensures that the export includes the changes. This example shows this use case.
Set Up Your Org Your org must have the necessary licenses, and both Data 360 and Trade Promotion Management must be set up and available.
Create a Data Stream Transfer data from the Consumer Goods Processing Service to Data 360 by configuring a data stream.
Create Report Metadata Report metadata is a configuration JSON that controls the behavior of the report. Configure report metadata to define how data is filtered, aggregated, and shown in a report.
Trigger Exports You can trigger the export by making an Apex call.
Abort Export Process When an export process is running for a longer duration than expected, it consumes resources and blocks the scheduling of new exports. The following Abort Export code snippet unblocks the scheduling by aborting the export process.
