          Create a Claim Template

          Create a Claim Template

Claim templates are the blueprints to create claims.

          Required Editions

Make sure to create KPI definitions with Claim Tactic as the object scope and at least one KPI set with Claim as the usage. Then, assign these KPI definitions to the KPI set.

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

          User Permissions Needed
To create a claim template: CGCloud Business Admin
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Claim Templates.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter a name and description for the template.
          4. Select the sales organization that the claim template belongs to.
          5. Enter a unique alphanumeric character, as the short code.
The combination of a sales organization and a short code must be unique. Third-party systems later use this short code during integration.
          6. Select a claim type.
          7. Select Active.
          8. To determine the order in which claim templates appear when you create claims, enter a sort value.
          9. If the claim requires the associated funds to be approved, select Requires Funds.
          10. To determine whether the claim is manual or interfaced, select a claim adjustment process type.
          11. To filter tactics by dates on the Link Tactics page, define the offset values.
          12. To show KPIs for tactic products on the Claim Tactic page, select the KPI set that you created with Payment as the usage.
          13. To filter KPI definitions in the RBF Hierarchy Grid, select a KPI subset.
If you select a subset, KPIs from the KPI set appear in the RBF Hierarchy grid. If you don’t select a KPI subset, no subset filter is applied.
          14. If Enable Payment Overwrite is enabled for the sales organization, define the product level at which the KPI values of a claim tactic are saved. Select a product level that's added to all the promotion templates linked to the claim.
          15. In Tactic Payout KPI Definition, select the KPI that determines how tactic payouts are distributed for tactic products.
This KPI must be included in the selected KPI set. If Enable Payment Overwrite is selected for the sales organization, make sure that the rounding precision for the KPI definition is 2 or less. Correct rounding precision makes sure that the promotions linked to the claim template can be opened without any errors.
          16. To enable reporting and auditing, select the KPIs that are written back to the claim tactic product records at the defined claim tactic product level.
These KPIs must be included in the selected KPI set.
          17. Save your changes.
