            Add a Tactic to a Claim

            To create a claim tactic record, add a tactic to a claim.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience

            Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled
            User Permissions Needed
            To create a claim tactic: CGCloud KAM
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Claims.
            2. Select a claim.
            3. Click Link Tactics.
            4. Use component filters to find the tactics that you want to link.
              You can configure the filters on the page. For more information, see Customize Your Lists.
            5. To select tactics, enter a tactic payout value.
              For negative claims, a minus sign is added to the entered payout value. If Enable Payment Overwrite is selected for the sales organization, you can link up to 15 tactics to a claim.
            6. Click Link Tactics.
              If Enable Payment Overwrite is selected for the sales organization, the system recalculates the claim tactic and writes back the results. These tables are read for the claim’s calculation promotion KPIs and the values are shown in the promotion P&L.
