Add Users to a Sales Organization

To give a user access to the data in a sales organization, add the user to the sales organization. Typically, Key Account Manager (KAM) users are assigned to one sales organization and business admins are assigned to multiple sales organizations. But, you can assign a KAM to multiple sales organizations, if needed.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

          User Permissions Needed
To add a user to a sales organization: CGCloud Business Admin

At any point in time, a user can log in to only one sales organization, but can still see the data of the other sales organizations that they’re added to. For example, a KAM is assigned to two sales organizations—0001 and 0002. When the KAM is logged in to sales organization 0001, they can still see the customers assigned to sales organization 0002.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Sales Organization.
          2. Click a sales organization.
          3. In the User related list, click New.
          4. Select a user.
          5. Select the working hours and the working days for the user.
          6. Save your changes.
