          Extend a Custom Calendar

          To use a custom calendar beyond the dates added during calendar creation, extend the calendar. Create the custom periods before extending the calendar.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

          User Permissions Needed
          To extend a custom calendar: CGCloud Business Admin
          1. From the App Launcher, find and open Sales Organization.
          2. Select the sales organization that you want to extend the custom calendar for.
          3. Create additional custom periods for your custom calendar.
            You can create up to 70 custom weeks, 20 custom months, and 5 custom quarters per year. Each custom month can belong to only one custom quarter.
            1. Click New Custom Period.
            2. Select the start and end date for the custom period.
            3. Select week, month, or quarter as the custom period type.
            4. Enter an ID and select the business year that the custom period belongs to.
            5. Enter a description.
              You can enter descriptions for any language configured in the sales organization.
            6. Save your changes.
              Repeat the previous steps to create additional custom periods for your custom calendar.
          4. From the App Launcher, find and select SF Data Sync.
          5. Sync the custom periods with the consumer goods cloud processing services.
          6. Validate your custom calendar.
            1. In the App Launcher, find and select Custom Calendars.
            2. Select the custom calendar.
            3. To verify if the calendar is valid, click Show Status.
          7. Extend the custom calendar.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and open Sales Organization.
            2. Select the sales organization that you created the custom calendar for.
            3. Click Extend Custom Calendar, and then click Confirm.
            4. Select the custom calendar, and click Confirm.
              The system validates the custom periods. If the validation is successful, the periods are generated in processing services.
