          Create a Rate-Based Fund Template

A rate-based fund (RBF) template is the blueprint to create a rate-based fund, and determines the fund type of the associated RBF.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

          User Permissions Needed
To create a rate-based fund template: CGCloud Business Admin
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select RBF Templates.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter the name and description for the template.
          4. Enter a short code that’s used while data is integrated with a third-party system.
For example, if in a third-party system, a fund is identified as abc, then enter abc as the short code.
          5. Select Active.
          6. In Fund type, select the fund template for the fund where the RBF deposits are added.
          7. Enter a number for sort.
During RBF creation, the system shows the RBF templates in order according to the sort value. Templates with an empty sort value appear first on the list.
          8. Select a rate type.
          9. Select a sales organization.
          10. Select a KPI set that applies to the RBF.
Only the KPI sets whose Usage you select as Rate-based Funding appear.
          11. To enable KPI filtering in the RBF hierarchy grid, select a KPI subset.
          12. Select the KPI that represents the total calculated value.
          13. For Condition Source KPI, select the KPI that is used to calculate the rate of the RBF.
          14. For Condition Target KPI, select the KPI where the calculated rate is saved.
          15. Save your changes.
