To import CSV data by using DPE: Advanced CSV Data Import

Before you use the advanced CSV data import feature to import CSV data into Salesforce, you must create a Data Processing Engine (DPE) definition, add DPE nodes and input variables. See Configure Data Processing Engine Definition.

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select the CSV File Import app.

If you don’t see the CSV File Import app, change the profile settings to make the CSV file import option visible in existing orgs.

  2. Click Import using Data Processing Engine (DPE).
  3. Click Upload CSV File.
When you upload the file, the file size and preview of the first ten rows are available.
  4. From the Select the DPE Definition search list, select the DPE definition that you configured to use as the schema to import the CSV data.
  5. Click Start Import.

After the import process is complete, check the import logs.
