Troubleshoot Unified Catalog

Resolve common access and visibility issues in Unified Catalog.

Required Editions

Unified Catalog Editions and Permissions.
Issue Cause Resolution
External users can’t see products or services in Unified Catalog. The required objects don’t have public read-only external access.

In Sharing Settings, set Default External Access to Public Read Only for these objects:

  • Product

  • Catalog

  • Product Configuration Flow

  • Product Configuration Flow Parameter

  • Product Component Group

  • Product Component Group Override

  • Product Related Component Override

If your service processes use OmniScripts or Integration Procedures, also set Default External Access to Public Read Only for the Omni Process object.
Experience Cloud users can’t access fields required by service processes. The users don’t have field-level access to the Case Source field on the Case object or the Used for field on the Product object. Grant the appropriate Experience Cloud user profiles access to the Case Source field on the Case object and the Used for field on the Product object.
Admins or Experience Cloud users can’t access Unified Catalog features. The users don’t have the required Unified Catalog permission set group.

Assign the UnifiedCatalogAdminPsl permission set group to admins.

Assign the UnifiedCatalogCommunityUserPsl permission set group to Experience Cloud users.
