A logical, sequential workflow guides you through a structured journey—creating a base
product and resource definition, defining policy, linking Product Usage Grant (PUG), and setting
rates. Finally, you can activate all records created through the journey with one click. It also
simplifies the setup by providing preselected, out-of-the-box default policies.
The guided workflow introduces mandatory validations at each step. It also has cross-object
validations that evaluate how different records work together. After you create the records
and activate them, the product and its related records are activated only if you resolve all
validation errors.
Configure a Usage-Based Product with Guided Workflow Follow the guided workflow to create the related records required for your usage-based product. These records complete the product setup so that you can start selling quickly.
