Add a Lookup Field for the Generic DocuSign Envelope Object

Complete this procedure to add a lookup field for your custom object to reference the Generic DocuSign Envelope object.

1. Go to Setup, and in the Quick Find box, enter Object.
2. Click Object Manager.
3. Next to Generic DocuSign Envelope, click Edit.
4. Click Fields & Relationships.
5. Click New.
6. Select Lookup Relationship.
7. Click Next.
8. Select the custom object, and click Next.
9. Enter the Field Label name.
10. Click Next.
11. Make your selections for the field-level security for profile.
12. Click Next.
13. Accept the reference field to page layouts, and click Next.
14. Make your selections for any custom-related lists.
15. Click Save.
