          Add Other Permission Sets

          Add Other Permission Sets

If you want to use tokens in document templates for extracting data, you can add Read permission in the permission sets of the guest user.

The following example shows how to complete the steps if you want to give read permission for Opportunity and Quote, and the guest users use the docGenerationSampleLwc/SingleDocxLwcGuestUser Omniscript.

Because this Omniscript uses an Omnistudio Data Mapper, you must add read permission sets for both objects, Vlocity Omniscript and Vlocity Data Mapper.

For example, suppose you’re using a {{QuoteName}} token in document templates, so you want to add Read permission for the guest user for both Quote and Opportunity. Because Opportunity is a parent object of Quote, you can’t add Read permission for just Quote. You must add the permission for both objects.

          1. In Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission.
          2. Click Permission Sets.
          3. Click New.
          4. In the Name field, enter a name (Example: Quote for Guest User OS).
          5. Click Save.
          6. Click Object Settings.
          7. Click Quotes.
          8. Click Edit.
          9. In the Object Permissions section, for Read, select the checkbox.
          10. In the Field Permissions section, select Read access for all the fields.
          11. Click Save.
          12. Repeat Steps 7–11 for Opportunities.
          13. Repeat Steps 7–11 for Vlocity Omniscript.
          14. Repeat Steps 7–11 for the following Data Mapper object settings:
            • Vlocity Data Mapper Bundles

            • Vlocity Data Mapper Map Items

            • Vlocity Data Mapper Object Interface
