Install and Activate Other Sample Omniscripts for CME Summer '22

Install and activate other sample Omniscript datapacks, DocGenerationSample, DocGenerationSampleLwc, AsyncQuoteToContractSample, and UpdateDeleteContractSample.

1. Using the App Launcher, open the Vlocity Templates tab.
2. Click the upper-right dropdown arrow and click one of the following:

   • Install DocGenerationSample

   • Install DocGenerationSampleLwc

   • Install AsyncQuoteToContractSample

   • Install UpdateDeleteContractSample

   Attention

   In Spring '25, Salesforce is retiring the Visualforce-based document generation Omniscripts included in the Install DocGenerationSample datapack from the Industries Communications, Media, Energy & Utilities (CME), and Insurance (INS) managed packages. Salesforce won't support or upgrade the sample or cloned versions of the retired VF Omniscripts. You must transition to the Lightning Web Components-based Omniscripts, which are already available in the Install DocGenerationSampleLwc datapack of these managed packages. 3. Select all the items, and click Next twice.
4. If any error occurs, click Ignore This Error.
5. Click Activate Now.
6. Click Next, and Done.
7. Repeat Steps 2–5 until you've imported and activated all the DataPacks.
