Map Fields for General Terms for Vlocity Government Spring '22

To select general terms in contracts, you must set up the field mapping.

1. From the App Launcher, open the Field Mapper tab.
2. Click Load Settings.
3. For the Source Object, select Product<Product2>.
4. For the Destination Object, select Contract Term<vlocity_ps__ContractTerm__c>.
5. Click Load Settings.
6. Click Add, then click Select.
7. From the Field Selection list, select Product ID<Id>, then click Save.
8. From the list to the right of the Id field, select Term Spec<vlocity_ps__TermSpecProduct2Id__c>.
9. Repeat the previous three steps to map the following fields:

   • Map Product Name<Name> to Term Name<Name>

   • Map Attribute Default Values<vlocity_ins__AttributeDefaultValues__c> to Attribute Selected Values<vlocity_ins__AttributedSelectedValues__c>

10. Click Save.
11. Change the Destination Object to Contract Type Term<vlocity_ps__ContractTypeTerm__c>. Repeat steps 5–9.
