Optional: Configure DocuSign Values for Setup Tab using Named Credentials for HINS Winter '22
If Omnistudio Perm is enabled in your org, configure DocuSign values for setup tab using named credentials.
- Create an Auth Provider for DocuSign.
Add an Auth Provider credential for DocuSign in Salesforce to create a secure connection. Omnistudio uses these credentials to fetch document templates from DocuSign.
- In your Salesforce org, from Setup, enter
Auth. Providersin the Quick Find box, then select Auth. Providers. - Click New, and select Open ID Connect.
- Name the Auth Provider
DocuSign, and enterDocuSignin the URL Suffix field. - In the Consumer Key field, enter your DocuSign App's Integration Key.
- For Consumer Secret, enter your DocuSign App's Secret Key.
- For Authorize Endpoint URL, enter
https://account-d.docusign.com/oauth/auth. - For Token Endpoint URL, enter
https://account-d.docusign.com/oauth/token. - For Default Scopes, enter
refresh_token full. - Select Send access token in header.
- Select Include Consumer Secret in API Responses.
- Click Save. This saves your auth provider and generates Salesforce Configuration URLs.
- Copy the Callback URL.
- From your DocuSign account, in the App Details panel, click Edit.
- For Redirect URIs, paste the
Callback URL. - Save your changes.
- In your Salesforce org, from Setup, enter
- Create
a Named Credential for DocuSign using OAuth.
- In your Salesforce org, from Setup, enter
Named Credentialsin the Quick Find box, then select Named Credentials. - Click New.
- For Label and Name, enter
DocuSign. - For URL, enter
https://demo.docusign.net. - For Identity Type, select Named Principal.
- For Authentication Protocol, select OAuth 2.0.
- For Authentication Provider, select DocuSign.
- For Scope, enter
refresh_token full. - Select Start Authentication Flow on Save.
- If Generate Authorization Header is not selected, select it.
- Click Save. A DocuSign login page will launch in a new tab.
- From the DocuSign login page, log in to DocuSign. This changes the Named Credential's Authentication Status to Authenticated.
- In your Salesforce org, from Setup, enter
- Create a Named Credential for DocuSign using Password
Authentication.Add a Named Credential using auth provider information to create a secure connection. Omniscripts and Integration Procedures use these credentials to connect with DocuSign.
- In your Salesforce org, from Setup, enter Named Credentials in the Quick Find box, then select Named Credentials.
- Click New.
- For Label and Name, enter DocuSignPassword.
- For URL, enter https://demo.docusign.net.
- For Identity Type, select Named Principal.
- For Authentication Protocol, select Password Authentication.
- Enter Docusign Username and Password in the respective fields.
- Select Allow Merge Fields in HTTP Header.
- Click Save. A DocuSign login page launches in a new tab.
- Add Omni Interaction Configuration Settings for
DocuSign. Provide DocuSign authorization by adding two Omni Interaction Configuration entries for DocuSign.
- From Setup, enter
Omni Interaction Configurationin the Quick Find box, then select Omni Interaction Configuration. - Click New.
- For Name and Label, enter
DocuSignAccountId. - For Value, enter the
API Account IDof your DocuSign Account. The API Account ID is present on DocuSign's Apps and Keys page.. - Click Save.
- Click New.
- For Name and Label, enter
DocuSignNamedCredentia. - For Value, enter
DocuSign.
- From Setup, enter
- Add Omni Interaction Configuration Settings for DocuSign
Password Authentication.Provide DocuSign authorization by adding two Omni Interaction Configuration entries for DocuSign.
- From Setup, enter Omni Interaction Configuration in the Quick Find box, then select Omni Interaction Configuration.
- Click New
- For Name and Label, enter DocuSignAccountId.
- For Value, enter the API Account ID of your DocuSign Account. The API Account ID is present on DocuSign's Apps and Keys page.
- Click Save.
- Click New.
- For Name and Label, enter DocuSignNamedCredential.
- For Value, enter DocuSignPassword
- Fetch DocuSign Templates in
Omnistudio.
Retrieve document templates from DocuSign to enable use in Omnistudio.
- From the App Launcher, in the Search apps and items box, enter
Omnistudio DocuSign Setup, then click Omnistudio DocuSign Setup. - Click Fetch DocuSign Templates.
