          The Utility Self Serve Portal​​ now includes a number of enhancements that aim to inform and delight your customers and improve the existing guided processes.

          Where: The ​Utility Self Serve Portal​ is delivered in a reference org that's preinstalled with the Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy managed package and ​Utility Self Serve Portal​​ components.

          Who: The Utility Self-Serve Portal is available to org admins of Energy & Utility companies for configuration, and to your customers for authentication and usage. Org admins need the Energy & Utilities Base Service License, and customers need the Energy & Utilities Cloud for Digital Experience User License.

          Why: Your customers can configure the ​Utility Self Serve Portal​​ for these tasks:

          • Interact with a service agent using a chat box that is preconfigured with the Energy and Utilities Contact Center Console.

          • Explore a new, future-proof user experience framework.

          • Perform additional quick actions such as updating account details and adding a meter reading.
