Allow Orchestration Dependencies to Work Across Orders
Sometimes it makes sense to split a large order into smaller ones (to avoid governor limits, for example, or to track requests individually). Doing so sometimes means that tasks that depend on each other end up in different orders. Industries Order Management can handle those dependencies across orders, which allows you to configure your orchestration so that tasks that depend on others will wait for them, even if they're in different orders.
Who: Fulfillment Designers who configure orchestration tasks and plans.
How: Allow the CrossOrderDependencyAllowed custom setting, set up dependencies with the Related Order scope, then, during runtime, make sure that one order is the parent of any related orders.
